This appliance may be installed in a after market permanently located,
manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the Rating Plate.
This appliance is not convertible for use with other gases, unless a certified kit
is used.
INSTALLER: MUST LEAVE MANUAL WITH UNIT AFTER INSTALLATION.

    13.0"W.C. • The minimum inlet gas supply pressures is for the purpose of input adjustment. • Heaters may be converted from one gas to another using Rinnai conversion kits. • Output efficiency is 80% of rated input for Canadian installations.
  • Page 3 RHFE-1004FA CONVERSION 1. Remove two (2) screws that hold the front panel in place. 2. Pull panel forward from the top of unit out about three inches. Reach inside electrical compartment and unplug the indicator lamp assembly. Then lift panel up and set it off the unit.
  • Page 4 GAS PRESSURE SETTING AND ADJUSTMENT 1. Turn the appliance to the off position. 2. Remove test point screw 1/8 NPT tap with 3/16 Allen TEST SW(SW1) wrench and connect manometer pressure gauge. 3. When unit completely stops operating, press the “SW1” test switch at the top of the PC board until it beeps.
  • Page 5 13. Press the Economy button to enter the high fire pressure into memory. The LED display will indicate “78”. 14. Press the ON/OFF button again. The LED display turns blank and the unit returns to the normal OFF mode. 15. Reconfirm all pressure settings before putting said unit back into operation.

  • Page 7 CONVERSION RHFE-1004FA 1. Retirez les deux (2) vis qui maintiennent en place le panneau avant. 2. Tirez le panneau vers vous d’environ 3 pouces depuis le haut de l’appareil. Accédez au compartiment électrique et débranchez le tableau indicateur. Puis, soulevez le panneau et enlevez-le de l’appareil.
  • Page 8 AJUSTAGE ET REGLAGE DE LA PRESSION DE GAZ 1. Eteignez l’appareil. 2. Retirez le taraud de test 1/8 NPT avec une clé à 6 pans de ESSAI INTERRUPTEUR 3/16 et raccordez le manomètre de pression. 3. Une fois que l’appareil est à un arrêt complet, appuyez sur le bouton de test «SW1»...
