1. Remove the two factory installedhexscrewslocatedon the rearengine
covermounting bracket.Retainthe screws for later instructions.See
Figure11.
2. Installthe rearenginecoverbypositioningit in place asshowninFigure 11.
Tipthe enginecoverforwardto fit it intothe slotsprovided, t hen rotateit
backwards t o alignthe mountingholes.

Secure the coverwith the two hexscrews previously removed. D onot to
over-tighten.
Installingthe Bumper
1. Remove t he two screws asshownin Figure 12.
2. Position the bumperoverthe mountingholesandsecure usingthe hardware
removed inStep1,asshownin Figure 12.
Installingthe HitchPlate
Remove t he factoryinstalledhitchplatemountinghardware located on the
rearof the tractor.
Position the hitchplate,packed withthe loose parts,with theflat sideup
asshownin Figure 13.Secure usingthe twoboltsandhexnutspreviously
removed.

Whenattaching battery cables,alwaysconnectthe POSITIVE (Red)wire to
itsterminal first, followed bythe NEGATIVE (Black)wire.
Forshipping reasons, b othbatterycables onyourequipmentmayhavebeenleft
disconnected f rom the terminals at the factory.Toconnect t he batterycables,
proceed asfollows:
NOTE: Thepositivebatteryterminalismarked Pos. ( +).Thenegative battery
terminalismarked Neg.(-).
1. Remove t he factoryinstalledhexboltsandhexnutslocated on the endof
the wiring harness. R etain the hardware for laterinstructions.
Remove t he plastic cover, i f present, f romthe positive batteryterminal a nd
attachthe redcable to the positive batteryterminal(+) withoneofthe hex
bolt andhexnuts,usinga7/16inchwrench andsocket w rench. S ee Figure 11.
Remove t he plastic cover, i f present, f romthe negativebatteryterminal
andattachthe blackcableto the negative batteryterminal(-) with the
remaininghexbolt andhexnut,usinga 7/16inchwrenchandsocket
wrench.SeeFigure 14.
