Beforebeginning installation,remove allthe contentsfromthe crateandall the
hardware from the pack from to makesureeverythingispresent.Hardware i s listed
below.Partnumbers areshowninparentheses.
HitchPlate
Seat M ounting Bracket (withtwo shoulder bolts&locknutsinstalled)
Lower the steeringwheelassembly ontothe lowersteeringshaft(1)and
secure with bolt andlocknut (2) previously removed. S eeFigure 2.

3/8" Wrench (orsocket)
9/16"Socket
1/2" Wrench (orsocket)
7/16"wrench
5/8" Wrench (orsocket)
PhillipsScrewDriver
1/4" Drive Ratchet
InstallingThe SteeringWheelAssembly
If thesteeringwheelassembly foryourtractordid notcomealready installed,
followthe stepsbelow:
1.
Slide the pedestal c apontothe steeringshaftsothatwhenthe steering
shaftis installedonthe tractor,the pedestal c apwill beuprightasshownin
Figure 1.

Remove t he shoulder bolt andlocknut from the steeringshafton thetractor
andretainfor latersteps.
Withthe steeringwheelassembly uprightandpositioned overthe lower
steeringshafton the tractor,alignthe steeringwheelsothatwith the
tractorwheelsstraight,the largeopeningon thesteeringwheelisfacing
forward.

Tightentheshoulder bolt andlocknut usinga9/16"wrench and
7/16"wrench o r socket.

Remove t he pedestal c apmountscrew factoryinstalledandlocated onthe
tractor'ssteeringconsole. R etain the screw for laterinstructions.

Slide the Pedestal capdown ontothe tractor(1)andslightlyrotateto the
rightto clipinto place.Secure the pedestal w ith the screw(2)previously
removed. SeeFigure 3.
