SPARK ARRESTOR
Thismachineisequippedwith an internal combustionengineand should
not beusedon or near any unimprovedforest-covered,brusbcovered or
grass-covered l and unlessthe engine'sexhaust systemisequippedwith a
sparkarrestor meetingapplicable localor state laws (if any).
Ira sparkarrestor is used,it shouldbe maintained in effective working order
bythe operator. In the Stateof Californiathe aboveisrequiredbylaw (Section
4442of the CaliforniaPublic Resources C ode). O therstatesmay havesimilar
laws.Federal l aws apply on federal lands.
