S.TRANSPORTING/STORAGE
1. Disconnect the fuel line and install the cap on the engine fuel inlet. Firmly
close the fuel cap vent knob.

2.Tilt up the outboard motor, remove the plug cap and disengage the
emergency stop switch clip from the engine stop switch. Pull the recoil
veral times, and completely drain the cooling water.

Be careful not to spill fuel. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite. If any
fuel is spilled, make sure the area
is
dry before storing or transporting
the motor.
l
Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks where fuel is drained or stored.
In cold weather, to prevent ice from forming inside the water pump, raise
the motor out of the water, and pull the recoil starter several times to
flush the water out.
