    SECTION 2: ASSEMBLING YOUR SNOW THROWER NOTE: References to right or left side of the snow thrower are determined from behind the unit in the operating position (standing directly behind the snow thrower, facing the handle panel). IMPORTANT: Two replacement auger shear pins are included with this manual (or stowed in the plastic handle panel).

Remove the flat washer and hairpin clip from the end of the chute directional control. Insert the end of the chute directional control into the lower bracket and secure with the flat washer and hairpin clip just removed.
