INSERTION
No. 1 Straight Stitch (Center Needle Position)
Zipper Foot
_CAUTION:
To prevent
accidents.
Zipper foot should be used for sewing center
needle position straight stitch No 1 only. It is
possible that needle could hit the presser foot and
break when sewing other patterns.
1. Baste the zipper opening to the seam line.
a: Top stitch,
b: End of opening,
c: Basting
d: Wrong Side of fabric
2. Fold back to the left seam allowance.
Turn under the right seam allowance to form 3
mm fold.
3. Attach the zipper foot,
Attach the left side of the presser foot pin to the
presser foot holder when sewing the right side
of the zipper, and right side of the presser foot
pin to the holder when sewing the left side of
the zipper.
4. Stitch the left side of zipper from bottom to top.
5. Turn the fabric right side out stitch across the
lower end and right side of zipper.
6. Stop about 5 cm from the top of zipper.
Remove the basting and open the zipper.
Stitch the remainder of the seam.

1. Stop stitching before you reach the slider.
2. Lower the needle into fabric.
3. Raise the presser foot and open the zipper,
4. Lower the presser foot and continue stitching.
