Changing a Stack Configuration

After a stack is created, you can still add or remove a member from the stack configuration. The
following command disables stacking on the master without rebooting all the members switches.

When the stack comes back up, the stack master locates the current members and renumbers the slots
appropriately. If however, you only wanted to disable a switch by removing its current configuration,
you may enter the following command:
unconfigure slot <n>
For example if you had a Summit 200-24 and wanted to swap out slot 7 with a Summit 200-48 switch,
you would enter:
disable stacking
Then from the console port of slot 7, you would enter;
enable stacking slave ports 7:2-24
If you wanted to swap slot 7 with another Summit 200-24 instead of the larger switch you would not
need to disable stacking or unconfigure the slot.
