    Your McCulloch engine is designed to operate satisfactorily on any gasoline intended for automotive use includ- ing oxygenated gasolines.     7-3A 7-2A 7-2. AIR FILTER 7-3. FUEL FILTER CAUTION CAUTION Never operate saw without the air filter. Dust and dirt will be drawn into engine and damage it. Keep the air filter clean! Never operate your saw without a fuel filter. The fuel filter should be replaced after each 20 hours of use. Drain fuel tank completely before changing filter.

    TOOLS FOR LUBRICATION: The McCulloch Lube Gun (optional) is recommended for applying grease to the guide bar sprocket tip. The Lube Gun is equipped with a needle nose tip which is necessary for the efficient application of grease to the sprocket tip.

BAR WEAR - Turn guide bar frequently at regular intervals (for example, after 5 hours of use), to ensure even wear on top and bottom of bar. BAR GROOVES - Bar grooves (or rails which support and carry the chain) should be cleaned if saw has been used heav- ily or if saw chain appears dirty.
