Optical drive

Removing the Optical drive
To remove the optical drive, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-12 and 4-13.
CAUTION: Do not put fingers inside the optical drive. It may cause injury.
1. Turn over the computer and remove the following screw securing the optical drive.

2. Turn over the computer and open the display.
3. Peel off the insulator and remove the optical drive from the connector on the system
board while pushing it in the direction of the arrow in the figure below.
