    ASSEMBLY Your new tiller has been assembled at the factory with exception of those parts left unassembled for shipp ng purposes. To ensure safe and proper ope ration of yourtiller all parts and hardware you assemble must be tightened securely. Use the correct tools as necessary to insure proper tightness.

    OPERATION SPARK • You will find tilling much easier if you leave a row PLUG untilled between passes. Then go back between tilled rows. (See Fig. 9) There aretwo reasons for doing this. First, wide turns are much easier to negotiate than about-faces.
