Operation procedure to start a
engine with AMT transmission

Keep the transmission gear position on
st nd
the N gear, 1 or 2 gear befor e the
engine starts. DO NOT step on the brake
to start the engine when the transmission
is placed in N gear position, otherwise the
engine fails to start.
Turn the key to the position "III", and
DO NOT step on the accelerator pedal to
start the engine. After the engine starts,
release the key. If the engine fails to start,
repeat the procedure above.
! CAUTION: The starter can't
operate for above 10 s every time,
otherwise, it may damage the starter. If
the engine still fails to start, wait for 15 s
and then have a try (for the vehicle
equipped with the automatic transmission,
turn the ignition switch, wait for 10 s and
then have a try)

1. Shift to the R position only
after the selector lever is in the
N position. And there is a
instrument alarm sound to give
a prompt;
