The XSCF units provides the following functions by means of the XSCF firmware:
Control and monitoring of the server

Because the XSCF unit is mounted on the motherboard unit, it cannot be replaced

The M3000 server consists of up to four hard disk drives and one CD-RW/DVD-RW
drive unit.

An SAS device has two data ports. Because each data port resides in a different SAS
