TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
CAUSE
FUNCTION switch not
set to CD.
Disc inserted incorrectly.
AC power cord
not connected.
CD compartment
not closed.
Disc inserted incorrectly.
Dirty or defective
disc.
Moisture
condensation
on disc.
Station is not tuned
properly.
FM: Antenna is not
properly adjusted.
AM: Unit is not pos-
itioned correctly.
FUNCTION switch not
set to RADIO.
Volume at minimum.
SOLUTION
Set FUNCTION switch
to CD.
Reinsert disc correctly.
Check AC power cord
connection.
Close CD compartment.
Reinsert disc correctly.
Try another disc.
Wipe disc with soft
cloth.
Retune the AM or FM
broadcast station.
Reorient FM
antenna.
Rotate unit until best
reception is obtained.
Set FUNCTION switch
to RADIO.
Increase volume.
