READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations. To
assure full compliance with local codes and regulations, check with your local electrical inspector before
installation. To prevent electric shock, turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding.
Retain these instructions for maintenance reference.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR: 1088, 1088WH, 1088GW

CAUTION:
USE ONLY REFLECTOR TRIMS PROVIDED BY LIGHTOLIER. USE OF OTHER MANUFACTURER'S REFLECTOR
TRIMS MAY VOID THE UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES LISTING AND COULD CONSTITUTE A FIRE HAZARD.

FRAME-IN KIT INSTALLATION: See frame-in kit instruction sheet for installation procedure.
2.
ATTACH SOCKET CUP TO TRIM:
2a. Socket cup is attached to trims by use of socket cup
spring channels on inside of eyeball.
2b. Align one socket cup spring leg with the channel on
one side of eyeball.
3.
PUSH UP:
Pre-aim and push trim straight up into fixture housing until it is tight against the ceiling.
Aiming may be adjusted as necessary. For rotational adjustment remove trim from fixture
housing and reposition to achieve the desired aiming.
FOR NON IC-RATED INSTALLATIONS, DO NOT INSTALL INSULATION ABOVE
OR WITHIN 3 INCHES OF ANY PART OF FIXTURE.
2c. Squeeze socket cup spring legs together and insert the
second leg into the channel on the opposite side of eyeball.
2d. Push socket cup into eyeball until both socket cup spring
legs hit the tab at the base of the channel.
NOTE: Spring tension should draw socket cup into position.
