Stopping a Route in Progress
You might need to cancel directions while you are en route to your destination. To stop turn‐by‐turn
directions to a destination:
1. From the Map View, touch Menu at the bottom of the screen.
2. When the Main Menu screen displays, touch Stop. This cancels your route.
Resuming a Route after Stopping
To resume a route after cancelling it:
1. Touch Go to... on the Main Menu screen, then touch Recent on the Go To... screen. A list of
your recent addresses opens.
2. Touch the destination on the list.
3. When the address card for your destination opens, touch Go to calculate the route and start
voice prompts.
4. PASSPORT iQ starts directions from your current location.
Avoiding a Route Segment
If there is an upcoming traffic slow‐down or incident along your route, you may choose to avoid the
affected portion of the route. To calculate an alternate route:
1. From the Map View, touch Menu at the bottom of the screen.
2. When the Main Menu screen displays, touch Routes.
3. Touch Avoid Route Segment.
