  • Page 2 Overview This guide outlines the basic setup, installation, and configuration steps required to begin using your Citrix XenServer from HP. A first time wizard-based setup guides you through initial installation and configuration, and a GUI provides ongoing virtual machine monitoring and management. To provide active hardware management using HP Systems Insight Manager (SIM), HP SIM Agents are installed with Citrix XenServer.

  • Page 4 If you are installing to the hard drive, proceed to step 8. To enable flash media (USB flash drive or SD card): a. Configure your flash device to boot before the hard drive. By default, flash media is already configured to boot before the hard drive. b.

From the menu, select the drive letter of the desired physical CD/DVD- ROM drive on your client computer. iii. Click Connect. The connected drive icon turns green. Local Image File Under the Virtual CD/DVD-ROM section, select Local Image File.
