    Get Started The following topics give you all the information you need to set up your phone and Sprint service the first time.   • Page 16 Insert the battery, contacts end first, and gently press the battery into place.   Replace the battery compartment cover, making sure all the tabs are secure and there are no gaps around the cover. Note: When you insert the battery, your phone may power on automatically. Insert the USB cable into the power adapter.

    While the phone is charging, if the touchscreen does not function due to an Warning! unstable power supply, unplug the USB power adapter from the power outlet or unplug the USB cable from the phone.   • Page 35 Drag To drag, touch and hold your finger with some pressure before you start to move your finger. While dragging, do not release your finger until you have reached the target position. Flick Flicking the screen is similar to swiping, except that you need to swipe your finger in light, quick strokes.

Assigning the Samsung Keyboard The Samsung keyboard is a built-in, QWERTY keyboard which you can use to type letters, numbers, punctuation, and other characters. Your phone's default entry method is Samsung keyboard. If you have another keyboard set, follow these steps to reassign the Samsung keyboard.
