Getting started Removing the SIM or USIM card and battery Remove the back cover. Pull out the battery. Push the SIM or USIM card until it disengages from the device, and then pull it out.
Charge the battery before using it for the first time. Use the charger to charge the battery. A computer can be also used to charge the device by connecting them via the USB cable. Use only Samsung-approved chargers, batteries, and cables. Unapproved chargers or cables can cause the battery to explode or damage the device.

Getting started Select a display language, and then tap next. If you select any language other than the default language, the device restarts automatically. Contents and services may vary by the selected display language. Read the terms and conditions, and then tap accept to agree to them. Tap recommend to use the default settings, or custom to configure device settings.

Getting started Set a region or country corresponding to the display language, time zone, and time and date, and then tap next. If the country or region setting does not match the display language, the regional format is set to the factory default value. This will affect the time and date formats and in some applications, data or contents will be modified.
