Leg
The leg number
Position
The position of the waypoint for this leg, as selected
by the cursor position when you made the route.
The position is given as either latitude and longitude
or TDs, depending on your setup selection.
WPT Name
The waypoint name. The default name is in the
format xxx WPT, where xxx is the waypoint number.
You can give the waypoint a name of up to 16
characters, which can be letters and/or numbers.
Depending on your setup selection, the full name or
only the first 3 or the first 6 characters may be
displayed on the chart.
Waypoints are listed in the Waypoint List in
alphanumeric order of name (see Chapter 4). If you
plan to use the Waypoint List, you may wish to
name related waypoints so that they are grouped
together in the list.
Sym
The waypoint symbol. The default is a circle, but you
can change it to any of the mark/event symbols (see
page 35).
Source
The source of the position information. For on-
screen routes, this is always the cursor. If you edit
the position, the source is updated to "EDIT".
You can change the route name or the waypoint positions, names
or symbols.
