• Always remove exhausted batteries from the equipment. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Only batteries of the same and equivalent type as recommended are to be used. - Page 6 3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech Pull & Learn Lion™ learning ® toy will automatically power-down after approximately 45 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by spinning the mane, rolling the wheels or by pressing the mode keys.
- Page 7 5. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 15 seconds, you will hear a phrase or a sound effect depending on the mode of play. After another 15 seconds if there is still no input, the unit will ask a random question.
