Edelbrock Water Pump Gasket Kit 7522 Installation Instructions

PLEASE study these instructions carefully before beginning this
installation. Most installations can be accomplished with common tools
and procedures. However, you should be familiar with and comfortable
working on your vehicle. If you do not feel comfortable performing this
installation, it is recommended to have the installation completed by a
qualified mechanic. If you have any questions, please call our

IMPORTANT NOTE: Proper installation is the responsibility of
the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and
may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
DESCRIPTION: This kit includes the gasket(s) necessary for the
reinstallation of your Edelbrock high performance water pump. Each of
these kits has been designed to work with several pumps and will
include at least one extra gasket that will not be needed for a given
application. Compare the new gaskets to the mounting flange of the
block, timing cover, or pump to determine the correct application, or
contact our technical support division for further assistance.

INSTALLATION NOTES
Backing plates should only be tightened to 8 ft/lbs to avoid potential
damage to the pump housing. A thin layer of Ultra Blue RTV silicone
sealant can be applied to both sides of the water pump gaskets to
ensure a proper seal is achieved, but is not strictly necessary.

INSTALLATION NOTES
