Printing in Ad Hoc Mode

You can send images from a smartphone to SELPHY for printing.
You need to install the designated application (free) on your smartphone.
Some smartphones may not be able to connect in ad hoc mode. In such a case, use infrastructure mode
(p.

Install the designated application on the
smartphone.
Check on our website whether your smartphone is

supported, and install the designated application.
Prepare SELPHY.
Remove any inserted card or USB memory.
O
Insert an ink cassette and a paper cassette that contains

paper you want to use into SELPHY
Display the settings screen.
Press the k button.
O
Press the ud buttons to select [Wireless LAN Settings],
O
and press the o button.
Press the ud buttons to select [Initial Settings], and
O
then press the o button.
Check the printer name.
Check the displayed printer name and press the o
O
button.
This name will be displayed on the devices as the printer
O
name when they are connected via a wireless LAN.
You can change the printer name by pressing the EDIT

button
