Using the Gesture Shot mode

Control [Shutter] and zoom functions with hand gestures.

Set your camera on a tripod and flip the screen upward.

On the Home screen, touch

Read the instructions about basic hand gestures and
touch o.
The pop-up disappears when you perform one of the hand
gestures even if you do not touch o.

Align your subject in the frame.

Make the appropriate hand gesture toward the camera.
To zoom in, move your hand in a clockwise motion
To zoom out, move your hand in an anti-clockwise motion

Move your hand up and down twice to start the timer.
The camera automatically releases the shutter 3 seconds after
recognizing the gesture.
Ensure the subject is between 50 cm and 5 m from the camera lens.
Ensure the subject is on the screen. If you perform the hand gestures
outside of the screen, the camera may not detect gestures.
The camera may react to other movements.
When using hand gestures to control the zoom, the zoom ratio number
will turn red and start blinking when it reaches the maximum zoom
level.
Adjust the size of hand gestures based on the zoom ratio. If you
perform hand gestures beyond the edge of the screen, the camera
cannot detect them.
