Electric Starter Does Not Crank
Engine.
Starter Cranks Engine But
Engine Does Not Start.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Check to determine if crankshaft
turns freely; if not, check for
binding belts, pulleys, clutches, etc. clutches, belts or pulleys.
Check battery connections for
corrosion and/or breaks.
Weak or bad battery.
Push button starter switch.
Electric starter.
Panel wiring.
Toggle Switch
Insure spade connectors are
secured to appropriate
switch terminals.
REMEDY
Relieve load on crankshaft.
Disengage associated equipment
Correct problem.
Replace or charge battery if less
than 3/4 charged.
Replace if inoperative. See

pages.
