14. Standby, Power down Dreambox and Reset

To put your Dreambox into standby mode, briefly press the power key at the
top right of your remote control once.
To put your Dreambox into deep standby, go to the main menu, select the
"power down" option, and confirm this with the „OK" key.
All settings are now stored and the Box goes into deep standby, or press the
power key on the remote control for 5 seconds.
For a reset, press all 3 buttons on the Dreambox at the same time.

15. Hard disk installation instructions

This section describes how to install a hard disk into your Dreambox 7000.
Please be sure during this process to observe the procedures for ESD in
working with electronic equipment. Make sure that you are earthed. Do not
unscrew the unit in your living room or in other rooms with carpet or other
floor coverings which take on an electrostatic charge. All connection cables
should be disconnected from the unit. Open the unit only with the tools
described here. Avoid physical contact with the components on the main
circuit board. If too many questions arise, ask your nearest dealer or televi-
sion technician for assistance.
