If you suspect a failure then do the following

Transmission is ena-
bled but no images
have been output to the
terminal or computer at
the destination.

A connection has not
been made.
Necessary setting for
the machine is not reg-
istered.
The LAN cable is bro-
ken.
The destination termi-
nal has no processing
capacity for transmitted
images.
Transmitting document
without inserting the
text.
Correction action
Check the hub lamp in-
dication to ensure the
connection status
Configure necessary
network setting.
Replace the LAN cable.
Configure the size, im-
age quality and com-
pression coding
method settings sup-
ported by the destina-
tion terminal and send
data again.
Depending on the soft-
ware, the attached file
may be invisible if a
mail containing only an
attached file (no text) is
received. In this case,
have the destination
party re-transmit data
that is configured to al-
low insertion of text.
