You can recess firebox into the wall. You can also position fireplace in the optional cabinet mantels. IMPORTANT: Only use optional cabinet mantels specified in this manual.

This makes the front of fireplace flush with wall. Follow the instructions below to install the fireplace in this manner.

    INSTALLATION Continued CAUTION: Use only new, black iron or steel pipe. Internally-tinned copper tubing may be used in cer- tain areas. Check your local codes. Use pipe of 1/2" or greater diameter to allow proper gas volume to fireplace. If pipe is too small, undue loss of volume will occur.

    OPERATING FIREPLACE Continued THERMOSTAT CONTROL OPERATION The thermostat control knob can be set to any comfort level between HI and LO. The thermostat will gradually modulate the heat output and flame height from higher to lower settings, or pilot, in order to maintain the comfort level you select. The ideal comfort setting will vary by household depending upon the amount of space to be heated, the output of the central heating system, etc.
