a qualifi ed installer, service agency, or the gas
supplier.
WARNING: This is a gas-fi red appliance. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which it is in-
stalled. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided. Refer to

Pressurize supply piping system by either using compressed air or opening main gas valve located on or near gas meter. Check all joints from gas meter to equipment shutoff valve (see Figure 5).
- Page 7 INSTALLATION Continued Natural Gas Installation Thread the gas control valve onto the burner inlet fi tting (see Figure 8). Use thread sealant on the male threads of the burner inlet fi tting. Hold the burner inlet fi tting with a wrench to pre- vent overtightening the connection to the burner.

DESA warrants this product to be free from defects on burner system for four (4) years and logs for a lifetime from the date of fi rst purchase, provided that the product has been properly installed, operated and maintained in accordance with all applicable instructions. To make a claim under this warranty the Bill of Sale or cancelled check must be presented.
