HOME THEATER PLATES
HTP-1, HTP-2
HTP-1
As part of Russound's PlateMate
solutions, the HTP-1 and HTP-2 Home Theater Plates
provide easy in-wall hookup of all the speakers in a
multichannel surround sound system.
The HTP-1 accommodates 5.1 and 6.1 surround
sound configurations. It provides dual binding posts
for six speakers and line-level RCA connectors for
two powered subwoofers.
For 5.1, 6.1, and 7.1 configurations, the HTP-2 pro-
vides dual binding posts for up to seven speakers
along with line-level RCA connectors for two pow-
ered subwoofers.
Both models use a heavy-duty molded plate that
supports the weight of high-quality interconnect
cables. All connectors are gold-plated brass for
®
line of wall plate
maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance.
Each connector is clearly labeled.
Binding posts with hex nuts allow for convenient
and secure connections, and the captive posts don't
turn while the nuts are being tightened. The 5-way
binding posts accept pins, spade lugs, single or
double banana plugs, and bare or tinned wire up to
12 gauge. RCA connectors for powered subwoofers
have F connectors on the back of the plate for
increased reliability.
Each Home Theater Plate will fit a standard double-
gang wall box or plaster ring. Both models come
with a white finish.
