power you will need to run appliances.

The values provided in the following table are estimates only.
• ALWAYS verify actual wattage requirements for appli-

Powering Appliances
Appliance Wattage Calculator
Use the below area to calculate both the running wattage
and additional starting wattage for your appliances. Run-
ning wattage is the amount of power needed to run the
appliances continually. Additional starting wattage is the
power needed to start appliances with electric motors.

Select the appliances you wish to power and fill in the
Running Watts and Additional Starting Watts col-
umns. These numbers are best obtained from the
appliance label, operating manuals, or contacting the
manufacturer. The Appliance Wattage Information
chart in this manual is also available for reference.
Add together the Running Watts and enter the total in
