Harmony Modes

The Harmony Mode determines how the Harmonies will be controlled for
the current Harmony Patch. Pressing the Mode button cycles through the four
Harmony Modes.
musIQ
Harmony Mode
®
This mode uses musIQ
based on the music being played on either a MIDI keyboard or a guitar. Just
play naturally and musIQ technology will analyze the music and make sure that
the harmonies are musically correct in the context of the accompaniment. The
harmony is chosen based on the Voicing selected.
musIQ MIDI
This mode uses musIQ technology to automatically generate
the harmonies based on the MIDI input.
musIQ Guitar
This mode uses musIQ technology to automatically generate
the harmonies based on the guitar input.

Acappella Harmony Mode

Acappella mode is intended for vocalists not using a guitar or
MIDI keyboard as a guide instrument. In Acappella mode, you
must use the Key and Scale buttons to set the desired Key and
Scale for the Harmony Voices. Use the Key button to cycle
through the available key or root note selections. Use the Scale
button to toggle the selections and define the scale as Major or
Minor.
