With a clean cloth, carefully
clean the area around the filler
plug (1) removing any deposits
that may be there.
Place a container, with a capaci-
ty of more than 244 cu in (4000
cc) underneath the drainage cap
(2).
Unscrew and remove the drain-
age cap (2).
Unscrew and remove the refill-

ing cap (1).
Drain the oil and let it drip for a
few minutes into the container
below.
Replace the drainage cap seal-
ing washer and the cap O-ring
(2).
Screw in and tighten the drain-
age cap (2), taking care to prop-
erly mount the O-ring in order to
avoid oil leaks from the tank.

INCORRECTLY MOUNTING THE O-
RING CAN CAUSE REDUCTION IN
TENSION, AND CAN CAUSE THE LEV-
EL OF THE OIL IN THE SUMP TO RISE
DURING STATIC CONDITIONS.

Avec un chiffon, nettoyer soi-
gneusement la zone environ-
nant le bouchon de remplissage
(1) d'éventuels dépôts de sale-
té.
Positionner un récipient d'une
capacité supérieure à 244 cu in
(4 000 cm³) en correspondance
du bouchon de vidange (2).
Dévisser et enlever le bouchon
de vidange (2).
Dévisser et enlever le bouchon
de remplissage (1).
Vidanger et laisser goutter pen-
dant quelques minutes l'huile à
l'intérieur du récipient.
Remplacer la rondelle d'étan-
chéité du bouchon de vidange et
le joint torique du bouchon (2).
Visser et serrer le bouchon de
vidange (2) en faisant attention
au montage correct du joint tori-
que, afin d'éviter les suinte-
ments d'huile du réservoir au
carter.
ATTENTION
LE MONTAGE INCORRECT DU JOINT
TORIQUE ENTRAÎNE UN MANQUE
D'ÉTANCHÉITÉ POUVANT PROVO-
QUER LA MONTÉE DU NIVEAU D'HUI-
LE DANS LE CARTER À L'ARRÊT.
