Meaning
The fuser unit is not
properly installed.
Paper has jammed
while exiting the MP
Tray.
The duplex cover is
open or not properly
latched.
Either the top cover
or the front cover is
open.
Tray 1 is not
installed in the
printer.
Tray 1 is not
properly installed in
the printer.

What to Do
Open the top cover
and check to be sure
that the fuser unit is
properly seated in the
printer and that the
lock levers are pushed
all the way toward the
back of the printer:

Clear the jam. See
"Jam 390", on
page 136.
Close the duplex
cover:

Be sure both the top
cover and the front
cover are firmly
closed.
Install the missing
tray.
Make sure the tray is
pushed fully into the
printer.
