2 - Mower Trimming For normal trimming, swing the head from side to side without tilting the string head. Keep the string head at same level for an even finish. 3 - Close Trimming Tilt the stringhead to the left for close trimming. Using the left side of the stringhead will also tend to eject the grass or debris away from the operator. -
