3. The screen shown at the left appears. If the stitch was saved suc-
cessfully, the previous screen automatically appears.
* Saving as stitch pattern takes approximately 10 seconds.
CAUTION
Do not turn off the machine while the "Saving" message is
displayed, otherwise the stitch pattern data being saved may
be lost. In addition, when saving the data onto a floppy disk,
do not try to remove the disk, otherwise the disk may be dam-
aged.
* For details on retrieving a saved stitch pattern, see page 7-13.
If the screen shown at the left appears after
stitch pattern cannot be saved because either the machine's memory
is full or the stitch pattern being saved is larger than the amount of
space available in the memory. To be able to save the stitch pattern
in the machine's memory, a previously saved stitch pattern must be
deleted.
