In order to provide help with input and drawing, a grid is displayed on the "Edit"
screen.
If the "snap ON" function is set, the cursor position is locked to the grid intersec-
tions.
Whether a grid is displayed or not, the grid type, and the "snap ON" function setting
are specified in the SET ENV settings in the "Edit" screen editing menu (see p.59).
The intervals of the grid display can be set anywhere between 2 and 99 dots in both
the X direction (horizontal direction) and the Y direction (vertical direction). (The
grid display aligned with the touch switches differs according to the PT model).
When the grid is displayed, a solid-line frame that indicates the screen range, and
a "+" mark that indicates the center of the screen are automatically displayed.
During drawing, the coordinates of the cursor position are displayed in the lower
part of the menu box, as shown below.
Snap ON function status
While the snap ON function is effective, the coordinate indication is preceded by
an "S", and the coordinate values become those of the closest grid coordinate
point (see p.59).
When the menu box is not displayed, the coordinate value is displayed at the top
right of the screen.
This is the screen number of the screen data
currently being edited.
This is the free capacity for file storage.
