Automatic Allocation

Automatic Allocation (Default)
Use this method to allocate I/O according to the status of the connected Units. I/O are allocated auto-
matically, so operations from a Programming Device is not required.
When automatic allocation is used, the I/O allocations will be updated every time the power supply to
the PLC is turned ON.
To change from manual allocation to automatic allocation, delete the I/O tables using a Programming
Device.
The I/O are allocated to the Units
connected when the power supply is turned ON.

Additional information
Unlike with manual allocation, I/O tables are not created with automatic allocation, and so the
connected Units are not verified.
Allocation Method
With automatic allocations, I/O will be allocated for the connected Units as described in the following
table. No user operation is required.
