Canceling the sleep timer
Press SLEEP repeatedly until "SLEEP OFF" appears in
the front panel display.
After a few seconds, "SLEEP OFF" disappears, and the
SLEEP indicator goes off.

The sleep timer setting can also be canceled by pressing
STANDBY on the remote control (or STANDBY/ON on the front
panel) to set this unit to the standby mode.

Manually adjusting speaker levels

You can adjust the output level of each speaker while
listening to a music source. This is also possible when
playing sources through the MULTI CH INPUT jacks.
Please note that this operation will override the level
adjustments made in "AUTO SETUP" (page 25),
"SPEAKER LEVEL" (page 55) and "Using the test tone"
(page 50).

Once you press LEVEL, you can also select the speaker by
pressing u / d.

Press j / i to adjust the speaker output level.
The control range is from +10 dB to –10 dB.

Press SELECT when you have completed
your adjustment.

This operation can also be performed using the controls on the
front panel. Press NEXT repeatedly to select the speaker you
want to adjust, then press LEVEL –/+ to adjust the output level.
