MA Series Power Amplifiers 5 Advanced Features and Options 5.1.4 Fuses and Circuit Breakers The power supplies of the Macro-Tech 602 and 1202 are protected by fuses. The power sup- plies of the Macro-Tech 2402 are protected by circuit breakers. With rated loads and output levels, the fuses (or circuit breakers) should only shut down the amplifier in the rare instance of a catastrophic failure.
5 Advanced Features and Options 5.3 Options 5.3.1 PIP and PIP2 Modules Versatile PIP (Programmable Input Processor) modules provide flexible expansion features that can be added to customize the amplifier. PIP modules plug into the connector inside the back panel of the amplifier. PIP modules are available with a features ranging from error- driven compressor/limiters to IQ control.
