IMPORTANT NOTICE -
Instructions Using Magnetic Tape
Magnetic Tape material is thicker than regular tape.
These set-up instructions are recommended for good results.
Your printer may be able to auto cut magnetic
tape depending on the model and the life of
the cut off blade and mechanism. However, we
recommend that you turn off the auto cut function
and manually cut the thick magnet material with
scissors to protect and prolong your printer life,
cutter blade and mechanism.
1. Feed and manually cut the first inch of material when using a new cartridge. This will
eliminate the "curl" that occurs from the magnetic tape resting on the cartridge feed bar. The
cartridge has extra magnetic tape for this function.
Turn Auto Cut Feature OFF.
2001XL, LW-PX300 – Manual Cutter only. Turn printer on. Create label. Press Print. Open
Cover. Remove cartridge and cut magnetic tape with scissors.
2001XLB, 2001XLST, 2011XLB, 2012XLST Auto Cut is Default Setting. Create Label.
Turn Auto Cut off by pressing Rpt. Enl. Key next to Print button. Press Arrow i to OFF.
Return. Screen will say Execute. Press Return. Label will print. Open Cover. Remove cartridge
and cut magnetic tape with scissors.
BEE3®, BEE3®+, BEE3®-EZ, BEE3®-EZ+, LW-PX350
Auto Cut is Default Setting. To turn off Auto Cut: Turn printer on. Hold SHIFT and CONDITION
Button Down at the same time. Arrow to Auto Cut. Return. On is displayed.
Arrow down i to OFF. Return. Create Label. Print. Open cover. Remove cartridge and cut
magnetic tape with scissors.
2020LSTB Auto Cut is Default Setting.
To turn off Auto Cut: Turn printer on. Hold SHIFT and EXTRA (Setting) Buttons Down at the
same time. Press Arrow i to scroll down display menu to AUTO CUT. Press RETURN button.
Press Arrow i to OFF. Press RETURN button. Create label. Print.
LW-PX400, LW-C410PX, LW-C610PX Auto Cut is Default Setting.
To turn off Auto Cut: Open the Label Editor Mobile app. Tap the "Print" icon on edit screen,
and turn "Tape Cut" to"Off".
LW-PX900, LW-PX750, LW-PX700 Printer will automatically detect and set margin length to
avoid tape feed issues. Hold down the blue 'shift arrow' and press the "tools" icon.
Select 'Auto-Cut' , select 'Off' , and then select 'Half-Cut' and select 'Off' .
LW-Z5010PX Auto Cut is Default Setting. To turn off Auto Cut: Press 'Menu boutton' . Select
'Print Settings' and then 'Cut Settings' . Select 'Auto Cut' , select 'Off. When "Auto Cut" is set to
"Off", "Half Cut" is automatically turned off.
• Consult your Owner's Manual for additional features and settings.
• Do not use PeelGuard®.
• If you drop the cartridge, it may be damaged.
• Printing at low ambient temperature may cause faint or blurry printouts.
• When using warped labels, flatten them before use.
For PC based models, choose the "Don't Cut" option in the Printer Settings
before printing.

PEARLabel® 360 & LW-PX800 & LW-Z5000PX choosing 'Don't cut' will automatically
turn off Half Cut.
Choose "Don't Cut" when using PC software and printer.
