  • Page 27 To avoid damaging the computer’s screws, use a small Phillips screwdriver that is in good condition. Installing a memory module with the computer’s power on may damage the computer, the module, or both. The computer has two memory slots—Slot A and Slot B. You can install one or two memory modules.
  • Page 28 Adding memory (optional) Close the display panel and turn the computer upside down to locate the memory module slot cover. (Sample Illustration) Locating the memory module slot cover Using a small Phillips screwdriver, loosen the captive screws that secure the memory module slot cover. • Page 39 To ensure that the battery maintains its maximum capacity, operate the computer on battery power at least once a month. The Lithium- Ion battery has no memory effect so it is not necessary to let the battery fully discharge each time. However, for better accuracy of the battery meter, it is helpful to fully discharge the battery periodically.
  • Page 40 Mobile computing TECHNICAL NOTE: The recharging of the battery cannot occur when your computer is using all of the power provided by the AC adaptor to run applications, features, and devices.
