Lay out all parts and hardware and identify using the illustrations on pages 4 and 5.

  • Page 8 • Assemble a shoulder bolt arid 3/8" hex lock nut to the R.H. side of the tractor fi'ame, using the first empty hole to the rear of the R.H. hanger bracket. See figure 7 Replace the engine puney keeper on your tractor with the new pulley keeper supplied with the snow blower.
  • Page 9 Make sure the attachment clutch lever on the dash panel is in the disengaged (down) position. Position the idler arm so that it points straight forward, as shown in figure 10. Align the engage- ment rod trunnion with the hole in the idler arm by screwing the trunnion in or out on the rod.
  • Page 10 Attach the snow thrower's clutch/idler assembly to the tractor frame by sliding the notched arms at the rear of the assembly onto the two shoulder bolts assembled to the inside of the tractor frame. Lift the front of the assembly so that the sides fit inside the R.H.
  • Page 11 Insert the end of the lift release cable into the hole in the lift rod. Place the cable into the slot in the top of the lift bracket, with one hex nut above the slot and one hex nut and lock washer below the slot. Tighten the nuts, adjusting them to take out excess stack in the cable wire just above the nuts.
