Locking the Phone

You can lock your phone so that calls cannot be made
by unauthorized individuals. You can still receive
incoming calls when your phone is locked by entering
the lock code while the phone is ringing. Turning the
phone off does not erase this feature; the phone stays
in the locked mode until you reset it by going through
the
MENU steps below.
IMPORTANT: You can place a 3-digit emergency call (such as
911) even when the phone is locked.
1. Press MENU.
2. Press 0 on the keypad.
3. Enter the lock code.
Note: The lock code is preset to
0000 at the factory. (To learn how
to change the lock code, see the
next section, 'Changing the Lock
Code'.)
4. Press 2 to select 'Auto Lock'.
5. Press

6. Press STO.
