    FM antenna and AM loop antenna, and how to connect commercially available outdoor FM and AM antennas. The DVD receiver won’t pick up any radio signals with- out any antenna connected, so you must connect the antenna to use the tuner.

    Connecting Your TV Connect the DVD receiver to the TV directly. If you con- nect the DVD receiver to a VCR, TV/VCR combination, or video selector, the playback picture may be distorted as DVD videos are copy protected. Using Video Connect the VIDEO OUT to a set of VIDEO input on your TV.

You also need to connect the RCA/ phono audio cable. • When a RI Dock and other -compatible devices are connected with the DVD receiver, you must also interconnect terminals between the two external devices.

    Using the Timer Functions—Continued Using the Sleep Timer Using the remote controller The Sleep timer can be set for 10 to 90 minutes, in inter- vals of 10 minutes. Press SLEEP. “Sleep 90” appears in the display, indi- cating the unit will turn off in 90 minutes. Each press of the same button reduces the remaining time by 10 minutes.
