Important: safety informa�on
It is illegal for anyone, except for a licensed electrician to install or maintain this product. Before installa�on,
ensure that the electricity supply has been switched off and isolated. Installa�on must be carried out in
accordance with the relevant Australian and Interna�onal Standards.

Installa�on:
. Seprate the body and base.
. Screw the base to the ceiling.
. Connect the power cable to the terminal block on the base.
. Push the body into the moun�ng base un�l a click is heared on each of base clip.
Note:
For first usage, power ON the unit for 24 hours to fully charge the ba�ery, Interrup�ng the mains supply will
discharge the ba�ery.
Tes�ng:
The emergency lamp must illuminate for at least 90mins a�er disconnec�on from the mains.
Press and hold Test Bu�on or Switch Off Mains Supply, check the emergency lamp is ON.
Release the Test Bu�on or Switch On Mains Supply, check the normal lamp is OFF (NON-Maintained opera�on)
Self-Tes�ng:
Once a month, the unit will discharge itself for 30 seconds.
If the mains power supply does not switch off for 12 months, the unit will discharge itself un�l out of ba�ery, then
will charge again.
Warranty:
Products have a 3 year (from date of purchase) replacement warranty including ba�ery.
Products have to be connected to permanent live power otherwise warranty will be void.
Must be installed by licensed electrician.
This warranty does not cover loss or damage by misuse, incorrect installa�on, incorrect voltage or non-authorized
electrical connec�ons, adverse external condi�ons (such as power surges and dips, exposure to heat, corrosion
etc).
Products that have been altered in any way or used other than in accordance with instruc�ons are not covered by
this warranty.
