important PA8700
installation information
If you have a J6000 or J6700 Workstation and you are upgrading your system
board with the PA8700, please ensure you use the Voltage Regulator Modules
(VRMs) included with your upgrade kit. The correct modules are marked
0950-4156. The VRMs (0950-3812) included on the original J6000 system board
are not compatible with this upgrade. The unused VRMs must be returned with
the original system board.
NOTE: The J6750 upgrade kit includes two 0950-4156
Please disregard any references to the B Class Workstation in the enclosed user
manual. This upgrade kit is not supported on B Class products.
