Storage

1.
Wait for the Engine to cool, then clean
the Engine with a clean cloth.
2.
When the equipment is to remain idle for
longer than 20 days, prepare the Engine
for storage as follows:
a.
Empty the Fuel Tank and drain all fuel
lines.
b.
Clean out area around Spark Plug.
Remove Spark Plug and pour one
tablespoon of engine oil into Cylinder
through Spark Plug hole.
c.
Reinstall Spark Plug, but leave the
Spark Plug Wire disconnected.
d.
Pull Starter Handle to distribute oil
in Cylinder. Stop after one or two
revolutions when you feel the Piston
start the compression stroke (when you
start to feel resistance).
3.
Apply a thin coat of rust preventive oil to
all uncoated metal parts.
4.
Cover and store in a dry, well-ventilated
area out of reach of children.
Maintenance and cleaning
Schedule: Generator
before Every Use:
a.
Check to make sure all bolts and nuts
are tight.
b.
Check for any damage to the Generator.
If damaged, do not use until repaired by
a qualified service technician.

After Every Use:

a.
Allow the unit to completely cool. Then
clean the exterior of the Generator with
a clean cloth.
