RECORDING

MODE SETTING
To view live TV in HDD mode:
• Press [HDD]
To view live TV in DVD mode:
• Press [DVD]
DISPLAYING TIMER RECORD LIST
a) Press HOME [ ]. First menu is
displayed.
b) Press [ ] until TV menu is displayed
c) Select Timer Record. Timer recording list is displayed.
RECORDING A BILINGUAL BROADCAST
To select audio channel when recording a bilingual program:
a) Press HOME [ ]. First menu is displayed.
b) Press [ ] until Easy Menu is displayed
c) Select SETUP
d) Press OK [ ] to display set up menu
e) Select recording icon from left panel
f) Select TV Record Audio from middle panel
g) Select option from right panel:
• Main+Sub: Main and sub language
• Main: Main language only
• Sub: Sub language only
h) Press OK [ ]
TIMER RECORDING
To set the start and end time of a recording:
a) Ensure clock is set to correct time. See Quick Start guide.
b) Display timer record list. See Displaying timer record list, above
c) Select New
d) Press OK [ ] to display timer record details screen
• Press [ ] to move between columns

e) Enter following information:
• Media: Choose HDD or DVD CH/PR: Choose a
program number or other source to record.
• Date: Choose a date up to 1 month ahead.
• Start Time: Set start time.
• End Time: Set end time.
• Repeat Choose a desired repeat: Once, Daily (Mon-Fri), or Weekly
Press REC [ ] on remote control repeatedly to change recording
mode (XP, SP, LP, EP or MLP)
Press OK [ ] to set recording
CANCELLING A TIMER RECORDING
To cancel a timer recording before timer starts:
a) Display timer record list. See Displaying timer record list, above.
b) Select recording to cancel
c) Press CLEAR
TIME SLIP
While recording a program to HDD as a title, the recording in progress
can be viewed simultaneously from the beginning.
To watch recording:
a) Wait for 15 seconds after recording starts
b) Press PLAY [ ] on remote control
To stop playback:
• Press STOP [ ]. Playback stops but recording continues.
To stop recording:
• Press STOP [ ]. Recording stops.
TIMESHIFT
To record live TV transmission temporarily to HDD, if TV viewing is
interrupted:
a) Ensure Unit is in HDD mode. See Mode Setting above.
b) Press [TIMESHIFT]
c) Press PAUSE/STEP [ ]. Timeshift recording starts.
