Thank you for purchasing the Yamaha HEXRACK Drum Rack Mount System. The HEXRACK is a high quality drum
rack system that is ready to use from the day of purchase.
You can assemble the rack by yourself, but before you do we urge you to read the instructions thoroughly then enjoy
using the rack system for a long time.
Please keep the assembly instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Safety Precautions
In order to use the product in a safe manner, please read the Safety Precautions section thoroughly.
The drum rack system is a large stand assembly to which stands, cymbals, etc., can be attached.
Please follow the precautions described below regarding setup location and handling.

The rack consists of many pipes and arms, which children can bump into resulting in injury.
A strong earthquake may cause the drum rack to move about or overturn.

Be careful of your fingers when adjusting clamps. Fingers can become pinched, resulting in injury.
Be careful around pipe ends, inside the pipes, and bolts. Sharp edges can result in injury.
Never sit on or place heavy objects on the product. Doing so can result in damage.
Never use or store the product in areas with extremely high temperatures (direct sunlight, close to heat sources,
inside a car with closed windows, etc.) or extremely high humidity (bathroom, outdoors in the rain, etc.). Doing so
may result in deformation, discoloring, damage, or poor performance.
Never use benzene, thinner, or alcohol when cleaning or maintaining the product. Doing so may discolor or deform
the product. When cleaning or performing maintenance, use a soft dry cloth or a cloth dampened and wrung out well
to wipe dirt away. For more obvious dirt dampen a cloth in a mild detergent solution, wring it out well and wipe, then
use a cloth dampened in clean water and wrung out well to remove the detergent.

Assembly
* Remove the HXR3L (HXR2L) unit and all accessories from the box then follow the instructions below to
assemble the rack.
Assemble the rack following the instructions in the order given below.
1.
Attach the curved pipe assembly (A) e to the leg assemblies (L) q and (C) w and secure. Loosen
the fixing bolts t on the open clamps r attached to both ends of the curved pipe assembly (A) e,
then align the sleeve y and memory clamp u on the leg assemblies and attach. When attaching,
make sure that the nub on the memory clamp u is aligned with the indent on the open clamp r
(Fig. A).
2.
[HXR3L] Use the same procedure to attach the curved pipe assembly (B) o to the leg assem-
blies (C) w and (R) i, and then secure.
[HXR2L] Use the same procedure to attach the curved pipe assembly (C) !0 to the leg assembly
(C) w, and then secure.
3.
Adjust the overall balance of the rack stand using the illustration as a reference. To rotate the cur-
ved pipes (e, o, !0 ) , loosen both fixing bolts t on the open clamps r and fixing bolts !1 on the
memory clamps u, and then rotate the parts simultaneously. After determining the position, tig-
hten the fixing bolts t and !1 to secure.
4.
A bubble meter (level) is incorporated into the logo clip !2 in the middle of the curved pipe assem-
bly (A) e. Adjust the height on the left and right sides of the curved pipe so that the bubble comes
to rest in the middle of the circle on the meter (Fig. B-a) (so that the curved pipe is level with the
floor). The logo clip !2 is removable so it can be used to adjust the other curved pipes (B) o or (C)
!0 .
5.
Loosen the clamp rod fixing bolt !4 on the tom clamp assembly !3 , insert the clamp rod !5 then
secure.
* The clamp rod hole has a diameter of 22.2mm making it compatible with other Yamaha parts such as the CH740,
CH745, CL945A, etc.
6.
To move the tom clamp !3 , loosen the clamp fixing bolt !6 then slide both the resin ball !7 and tom
clamp !3 . After the tom clamp has been moved, tighten the clamp fixing bolt !6 to secure.
7.
Leg bases (!8 , !9 , @0 ) can be rotated, or their lengths adjusted if necessary.

Zunächst einmal vielen Dank für den Kauf des HEXRACK-Schlagzeugrack-Systems von Yamaha. Das HEXRACK ist
ein hochwertiges Schlagzeugrack-System, das nach dem Kauf sofort eingesetzt werden kann.
Sie können das Rack selbst montieren. Wir raten Ihnen jedoch, vor der Montage die Anweisungen aufmerksam durch-
zulesen, damit sie lange Zeit Spaß an dem Racksystem haben.
Bitte bewahren Sie die Montageanleitung für spätere Bezugnahme an einem sicheren Platz auf.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
Bitte lesen Sie den Abschnitt „Vorsichtsmaßnahmen" aufmerksam durch und verwenden Sie das Produkt sicher und

Montage
* Nehmen Sie die Einheit HXR3L (HXR2L) und alles Zubehör aus dem Karton und folgen Sie den nachste-
henden Anweisungen, um die Montage durchzuführen.
Bauen Sie das Rack in der Reihenfolge der nachstehenden Anweisungen
zusammen.
1.
Befestigen Sie die Bogenrohr-Baugruppe (A) e an den Bein-Baugruppen (L) q und (C) w. Lösen
Sie die Befestigungsschrauben t an den offenen Klammern r an beiden Enden der Bogenrohr-
Baugruppe (A) e, richten Sie die Manschette y und die Memory-Klammer u an den Bein-Bau-
gruppen aus und befestigen Sie die Teile. Achten Sie bei der Befestigung darauf, dass die Noppe
an der Memory-Klammer u sich mit der Aussparung in der offenen Klammer r deckt (Fig. A).
2.
[HXR3L] Befestigen Sie die Bogenrohr-Baugruppe (B) o auf dieselbe Weise an den Bein-Bau-
gruppen (C) w und (R) i.
[HXR2L] Befestigen Sie die Bogenrohr-Baugruppe (C) !0 auf dieselbe Weise an der Bein-Bau-
gruppe (C) w.
3.
Stellen Sie die einzelnen Teile des Racks wie in der Abbildung ein. Zum Drehen eines Bogenrohrs
(e, o, !0 ) lösen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben t an den offenen Klammern r sowie die Befe-
stigungsschrauben !1 an den Memory-Klammern u und drehen die Teile dann gemeinsam.
Sobald die gewünschte Position vorliegt, ziehen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben t und !1 wieder
fest an.
4.
Im Logo-Blech !2 in der Mitte der Bogenrohr-Baugruppe (A) e ist eine Wasserwaage (Libelle)
integriert. Stellen Sie die Höhe des linken und rechten Endes des Bogenrohrs so ein, dass die
Blase in der Mitte des Sichtglas-Kreises an der Wasserwaage (Fig. B-a) befindet (so dass das
Bogenrohr eben mit der Bodenfläche ist). Das Logo-Blech !2 lässt sich abnehmen, um auch
Bogenrohr (B) o und (C) !0 zu nivellieren.
5.
Lösen Sie die Klemmarm-Befestigungsschraube !4 an der Tomklammerbaugruppe !3 , führen Sie
den Klemmarm !5 ein und befestigen Sie ihn sicher.
* Die Klemmarmaufnahme hat einen Durchmesser von 22,2 mm und eignet sich daher auch für andere Yamaha-Teile wie
CH740, CH745, CL945A usw.
6.
Zum Verschieben der Tomklammer !3 lösen Sie die Klammer-Befestigungsschraube !6 und schie-
ben dann die Kunststoffkugel !7 zusammen mit der Tomklammer !3 . Ziehen Sie die Klammer-
Befestigungsschraube !6 nach Verschieben der Tomklammer wieder fest an.
7.
Die Standfüße (!8 , !9 , @0 ) können bei Bedarf gedreht und längenverstellt werden.

Vous pouvez tout à fait le monter vous-même, mais avant cela, nous vous invitons à lire attentivement et complètement
ces instructions ; vous pourrez ainsi ensuite profiter pleinement et pour longtemps de votre rack.

Pour pouvoir utiliser ce produit en toute sécurité, lisez intégralement ces précautions d'usage.
Le rack de batterie est un ensemble auquel peuvent se rattacher des supports, des cymbales, etc.
Tenez bien compte des avertissements et instructions de montage. Si un enfant doit se servir de ce rack,
il doit recevoir au préalable des instructions d'un parent ou d'un enseignant.
Respectez les avertissements ci-dessous pour prévenir accidents et blessures.

Faites attention à vos doigts lorsque vous réglez les tiges de serrage. Vous risquez de vous les faire pincer ou de

Faites attention en manipulant les tuyaux notamment leurs extrémités ainsi que les bouts des vis et boulons. Les
copeaux notamment métalliques peuvent vous blesser les doigts.
Ne vous asseyez pas sur le produit et ne placez pas dessus des objets lourds, au risque de provoquer des domma-
ges.
N'utilisez pas et ne conservez pas le produit dans des lieux à température très élevée (à la lumière directe du soleil,
à proximité d'un radiateur ou dans une voiture fermée à clé, etc.) ou à forte humidité (salle de bain, à l'extérieur par
une journée pluvieuse, etc.). Cela pourrait entraîner sa déformation et sa décoloration, le rendre poisseux, l'endom-
mager ou le détériorer.
Pour nettoyer le produit, n'utilisez pas de benzène, de diluant ou d'alcool au risque de provoquer sa décoloration ou
sa déformation. Essuyez-le avec un chiffon sec et doux ou un tissus humide ayant été très bien essoré. Si le produit
est sale ou collant, nettoyez-le avec un chiffon sec ou un tissus imbibé de détergent neutre puis essuyez-le avec un
chiffon humide ayant été préalablement bien essoré afin d'en retirer toute trace de détergent.

Montage
* Retirez le HXR3L (ou HXR2L) et ses accessoires de l'emballage et suivez les instructions décrites ci-des-
sous pour le monter.
Montez le rack en suivant les instructions dans l'ordre.
1.
Fixez l'ensemble courbe A e aux ensembles de pied gauche q et central w et serrez. Desserrez
les boulons de fixation t des colliers de serrage r qui se trouvent aux extrémités de l'ensemble
courbe A e, puis alignez le manchon y et le collier de serrage à mémoire u sur les ensembles
de pied, et fixez-les. Ce faisant, veillez à ce que la protubérance du collier de serrage à mémoire
u soit alignée avec l'encoche du collier de serrage r (Fig. A).
2.
[HXR3L] Procédez de la même manière pour fixer l'ensemble courbe B o aux ensembles de
pied central w et droit i, puis serrez.
[HXR2L] Procédez de la même manière pour fixer l'ensemble courbe C !0 à l'ensemble de pied
central w, puis serrez.
3.
Réglez l'équilibre général du rack en vous référant à l'illustration. Pour faire tourner les ensembles
courbes (e, o, !0 ) , desserrez à la fois les boulons de fixation t des colliers de serrage r et les
boulons de fixation !1 des colliers de serrage à mémoire u, puis faites tourner les pièces simulta-
nément. Après avoir trouvé la bonne position, serrez les boulons de fixation t et !1 .
4.
Un niveau à bulle est incorporé à la plaque logo !2 , au milieu de l'ensemble courbe A e. Réglez la
hauteur de ce dernier à gauche et à droite de sorte que la bulle se trouve au milieu du cercle du
niveau (Fig. B-a) (ce qui signifie que l'ensemble courbe est parallèle au sol). La plaque logo !2 est
amovible, ce qui permet de l'utiliser pour régler la position des autres ensembles courbes B o ou
C !0 .
5.
Desserrez le boulon de la tige de serrage !4 de la fixation du tom !3 , introduisez la tige de serrage
!5 , puis serrez.
* L'orifice de la tige de serrage a un diamètre de 22,2 mm, ce qui le rend compatible avec d'autres accessoires Yamaha
comme les CH740, CH745, CL945A, etc.
6.
Pour déplacer la fixation du tom !3 , desserrez le boulon !6 , puis faites glisser la boule en résine !7
et la fixation du tom !3 . Une fois ce déplacement effectué, resserrez le boulon !6 .
7.
Si nécessaires, les tiges de base des pieds (!8 , !9 , @0 ) peuvent être tournées et leur longue peut
être ajustée.

ADVERTENCIA
Ponga el producto sobre una superficie plana y estable.

No afloje nunca súbitamente los tornillos cuando efectúe ajustes de la altura o del ángulo.

tubos y ocasionar lesiones al pellizcarle las piernas, los dedos, etc.
No se siente nunca sobre el bastidor ni lo emplee como peldaño de escalera.

ATENCIÓN
Tenga cuidado con los dedos cuando ajuste las abrazaderas. Podría pellizcarse los dedos y correr el peligro de
heridas.
Tenga cuidado con los extremos de los tubos, con el interior de los tubos, y con los tornillos. Las esquinas cortantes
pueden ocasionar lesiones.
No se siente nunca ni ponga objetos pesados sobre el producto. De lo contrario, podrían producirse daños.
No emplee ni guarde nunca el producto en lugares con temperaturas muy altas (bajo la luz del sol, cerca de fuentes
de calor, en el interior de un vehículo con las ventanillas cerradas, etc.) ni lugares con mucha humedad (salas de
baño, al aire libre bajo la lluvia, etc.). De lo contrario, podría producirse deformación, decoloración, daños, o rendi-
miento insatisfactorio.
No utilice nunca bencina, disolvente, ni alcohol para efectuar la limpieza ni para el mantenimiento del producto. De
lo contrario, el producto podría decolorarse o deformarse. Para efectuar la limpieza o el mantenimiento, emplee un
paño suave y seco o un paño humedecido y bien exprimido para frotar la suciedad. Para la suciedad persistente,
humedezca un paño en una solución de agua y detergente poco concentrada, exprímalo bien y frote con el paño, y
luego emplee un paño humedecido en agua limpia y bien exprimido para quitar los restos de detergente.

Montaje
* Extraiga la unidad HXR3L (HXR2L) y todos los accesorios de la caja y siga las instrucciones siguientes
para montar el bastidor.
Monte el bastidor siguiendo las instrucciones en el orden en el que se
dan a continuación.
1.
Monte el conjunto del tubo curvado (A) e en los conjunto de las patas (Izq.) q y (Central) w y
fíjelo. Afloje los tornillos de fijación t en las abrazaderas abiertas r montadas a ambos extremos
del conjunto del tubo curvado (A) e, y alinee entonces el manguito y y la abrazadera con posicio-
nes de ajuste u en los conjuntos de las patas y fíjelos. Cuando efectúe el montaje, asegúrese de
que la protuberancia de la abrazadera con posiciones de ajuste u esté alineada con el hueco de
la abrazadera abierta r (Fig. A).

[HXR3L] Siga el mismo procedimiento para montar el conjunto del tubo curvado (B) o en los
conjunto de las patas (Central) w y (Der.) i, y luego fíjelo.
[HXR2L] Siga el mismo procedimiento para montar el conjunto del tubo curvado (C) !0 en el
conjunto de la pata (Central) w, y luego fíjelo.
3.
Ajuste el equilibrio general del soporte del bastidor empleando la ilustración como referencia. Para
girar los tubos curvados (e, o, !0 ) , afloje ambos tornillos de fijación t de las abrazaderas abier-
tas r y los tornillos de fijación !1 de las abrazaderas con posiciones de ajuste u, y luego gire las
partes simultáneamente. Después de haber decidido la posición, apriete los tornillos de fijación t
y !1 para fijarlo.
4.
La placa del logotipo !2 incorpora un nivel de burbuja (nivelador) en la mitad del conjunto del tubo
curvado (A) e. Ajuste la altura de los lados izquierdo y derecho del tubo curvado de modo que la
burbuja quede quieta en el centro del círculo del nivelador (Fig. B-a) (de modo que el tubo curvado
quede nivelado con el piso). La placa del logotipo !2 es extraíble, por lo que puede utilizarse para
ajustar los otros tubos curvados (B) o o (C) !0 .
5.
Afloje el tornillo de fijación de la barra de la abrazadera !4 del conjunto de la abrazadera de
soporte del timbal !3 , inserte la barra de la abrazadera de soporte !5 y luego fíjela.
* El orificio de la barra de la abrazadera tiene un diámetro de 22,2 mm para que sea compatible con otros componentes
Yamaha tales como los CH740, CH745, CL945A, etc.
6.
Para mover la abrazadera de soporte del timbal !3 , afloje el tornillo de fijación de la abrazadera !6
y deslice entonces la borra de resina !7 y la abrazadera de soporte del timbal !3 . Después de
haber movido la abrazadera de soporte del timbal, apriete el tornillo de fijación de la abrazadera !6
para fijarlo.
7.
Las bases de las patas (!8 , !9 , @0 ) pueden girarse, y si es necesario pueden ajustarse sus longitu-
des.
